It is located on the right bank of the Warta River (km 370.32), in the heart of the Warta Landscape Park. Marina Ląd has its own port swimming pool and full facilities for boaters, including toilets and showers, access to water and electricity on quays and floating piers. The Lawendowa Weranda restaurant here is famous for its freshwater fish dishes and homemade cakes. There is also a kayak rental and a camping site on site. The nearest gas station is 500 m away.
The tourist season lasts from May 1 to September 30, during which time 24-hour supervision is provided by the facility’s employees.
Worth visiting
Nearby there is the former Cistercian abbey in Ląd and church of Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Nicholas, both examples of high-class Baroque art, but the monastery cloisters also contain monuments from older eras. The Warta Landscape Park is famous as one of the best places in Greater Poland for bird watching, and the Nature Education Center located in Ląd provides the necessary knowledge about species living on the banks of the Warta River.
