One of the newest and most modern marinas on the Warta River. It is located approximately 8 km north of Poznań (234 km), on the outskirts of the village of Czerwonak. It is adapted to moor several units at wooden floating piers. There is access to electricity and water on the quay, as well as the possibility of dumping dirty water. A slip for boats and kayaks is available. There are no catering facilities in the marina, but there is a barbecue house for water sports enthusiasts. The marina has its own campsite, and a parking lot for 50 vehicles.

The season runs from April 1 to October 31. The marina is available from 07:00 to 22:00. The harbor basin is lit and protected 24 hours a day. During the season, from May to September, a water tram runs connecting Czerwonak with Poznań.

Worth visiting

When mooring for a longer period in Czerwonak, be sure to visit the nearby village of Owińska, where there is a monastery complex of the Cistercian nuns, which also includes the baroque church of St. John the Baptist. Currently, the former monastery houses a school center for blind children, with the only typhlological museum in Poland, dedicated to the culture of blind people. On the other side of the road, the von Treskov family palace.

Czerwonak is also an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling trips around the Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park. In the immediate vicinity of the village there is the highest peak in the area – Góra Dziewicza, on the top of which there is an observation tower and a junction of hiking trails.

It is located on the right bank of the Warta River (km 370.32), in the heart of the Warta Landscape Park. Marina Ląd has its own port swimming pool and full facilities for boaters, including toilets and showers, access to water and electricity on quays and floating piers. The Lawendowa Weranda restaurant here is famous for its freshwater fish dishes and homemade cakes. There is also a kayak rental and a camping site on site. The nearest gas station is 500 m away.

The tourist season lasts from May 1 to September 30, during which time 24-hour supervision is provided by the facility’s employees.

Worth visiting

Nearby there is the former Cistercian abbey in Ląd and church of Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Nicholas, both examples of high-class Baroque art, but the monastery cloisters also contain monuments from older eras. The Warta Landscape Park is famous as one of the best places in Greater Poland for bird watching, and the Nature Education Center located in Ląd provides the necessary knowledge about species living on the banks of the Warta River.

The marina on the Warta River in Obrzycko, completed in 2014, is located on the right bank of the river, occupying a natural depression behind one of the river spurs. The resulting bay replaces the port basin. The marina has a fortified quay and a mooring pier. Next to it there is also a slipway, a picnic shelter and a place for a bonfire. There is also a parking lot for several dozen vehicles (ground surface) available to tourists.

The marina is available all year round. It has no permanent staff and is not supervised. There is no electricity or water connection on site, but portable toilets are available. There are three restaurants in Obrzycko.

Zobacz w pobliżu

Obrzycko is one of the smallest towns in Greater Poland, but full of charming corners and several interesting monuments. The most important is the baroque church of Saints Peter and Paul from 1714. In the middle of the cozy market square there is a brick town hall with a clock tower. It looks exactly like a small town town hall should. The Raczyński family owned an elegant palace located on the right bank of the Warta River. Currently, it houses the Adam Mickiewicz University’s conference facility, but the park and courtyard of the palace are open to visitors.

The pier on the Warta River in Sieraków consists of two parts. On the left bank of the river (town center) there is a quay, a parking lot and places to moor boats. On the right bank there is an unpaved but accessible quay with a slipway, picnic shelters and a bonfire place.

The marina is open to all users, no fees are charged, but the facility is not monitored or supervised. Parking in parking spaces is also free of charge. There is no access to water or electricity at the marina. However, there is no problem finding accommodation or a restaurant in the city, which is very popular among tourists.

Worth visiting

Sieraków is one of the most popular places in Wielkopolska for a weekend break. In the city, it is worth taking a walk around the market square and the streets surrounding it. The most impressive building is the Baroque church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, called the pearl of Sieraków. While sailing along the Warta towards the marina, it is impossible to miss the castle of the Opaliński family standing on its left bank, one wing of which has survived to this day and is now the seat of a museum. Nearby there is also the Sieraków Stallion Herd and a historic architectural complex.

However, Sieraków is, above all, the heart of the Land of 100 Lakes. It includes the Sierakowski Landscape Park and its surroundings, offering numerous lakes, dense pine forests of the Puszcza Notecka Forest, picturesque inland dunes and a dense network of hiking and cycling trails. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy the attractions of the nearby Jaroszewskie Lake, with a kayaking and sailing base and a wake park.

The facility operates all year round.

Worth visiting

Śrem is one of the largest towns in Greater Poland, whose history dates back to the 12th century. On the right bank of the Warta River there is a historic center, where it is worth seeing the town hall and the buildings around the market square, as well as several churches, the oldest of which is almost 650 years old. Śrem’s old town is bustling, full of charming corners and atmospheric restaurants. On the left bank of the river, a magnificent 44-meter-high tower dominates the city, but it is not part of any castle but a water tower, stylized as a Gothic building.

If you have more time, you can relax at the nearby Grzymisławskie Lake. There is a water ski lift there, and in the season there is a beach bar and a swimming area.

Gorzowska Marina is located on the right bank of the Warta River, at Żeglarska Street – about 3 km from the center of Gorzów (go down the river). The marina has a yacht swimming pool of 0.70 ha, allowing 15 motor yachts to stay there at one time. It is possible to connect electricity and water to the quay, and showers and toilets are available for water sports enthusiasts. There is also a slip available. The nearest gas station is 1,300 m away, but fuel can be delivered by the marina staff. The area is monitored, but does not have constant supervision.

Worth visiting

Gorzów Wielkopolski is one of the two capitals of the Lubusz Voivodeship, a large transport hub and one of the largest cities on the Warta River, so you can visit it for more than one day. Unfortunately, a significant part of the Old Town burned down, set on fire by the Red Army, but the cathedral still stands proudly. The neighboring Old Market Square is the entertainment center of the city. Fragments of the medieval defensive walls have also been preserved.

A place that especially deserves to be visited is the boulevards of Gorzów on the Warta River. It is not only a great place for a walk, but you can also take a sit in one of the numerous pubs, catch a cruise ship, and take part in numerous events and concerts. The boulevard is also a place of traditional celebrations for the local speedway riders.

The facility operates all year round. 24/7 supervision of the facility’s employees is provided.

Worth visiting

In Nowe Miasto nad Wartą worth visiting is the historic layout of the town, with two market squares. The largest monument is the Gothic Church of the Holy Trinity from the 14th century. For horse riding enthusiasts, 3 km away there is Folwark Konny Hermanów, which also offers excellent regional cuisine. The surrounding area is the Żerkowsko-Czeszewski Landscape Park, which is an ideal place for cycling and hiking trips. Just 14 km from the marina there is a palace in Śmiełów, where famous Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz lived for some time.

It is located on the right bank of the Warta River (km 351.70). The marina in Pyzdry is one of the newer facilities on the Great Loop of Greater Poland, built thanks to the efforts of the local government. The marina has basic infrastructure, but has a port basin and provides access to electricity and water on the quay, as well as the possibility of dumping waste. Right next to it there is the building of Tawerna Perkoz, where tourists have a shower and toilets at their disposal. Above all, it is a place where you can eat well and listen to the stories of other water sportsmen.

The facility operates all year round. The marina is not fenced and there is no 24-hour supervision.

Worth visiting

Pyzdry is a small town with a great history. It is worth spending at least a few hours sightseeing. One of the most charming places is the Warta River promenade next to the marina. At its eastern end you can see one of the largest murals in Poland, depicting the history of the city. You should also visit the museum, located in the former Franciscan monastery (which stands on the foundations of a castle) and the wooden arcaded house, which houses an exhibition devoted to the Piast times. The newest attraction, which will soon be available, is a historic windmill, which has been carefully restored to its former glory and functionality.
