The marina in Czarnków, opened in 2011, is one of the most modern facilities of this type in the entire Great Loop. For its construction, a former river port was used, where the port basin was cleaned and deepened and a modern captain’s office building and a warehouse were built. Czarnkowska marina is guarded and monitored. Here you can use a free camping site, toilets, showers and drinking water. Thanks to the slip, you can launch boats and yachts here. You can easily empty sewage tanks, replace gas cylinders and connect your boat to the electrical installation. Those who do not have their own swimming equipment can rent kayaks and rowing boats in the marina. And thanks to the bike rental, people coming to Czarnków have the opportunity to conveniently explore the surrounding area.

Worth visiting

In Czarnków, you must climb the Krzyżowa Mountain dominating the Noteć valley, from where you can admire a beautiful panorama of the city. Right next to the charming market square there is a Gothic church dedicated to St. Saint Mary Magdalene from the 16th century, there is also a sculpture of an outstanding chronicler, Janek of Czarnków. Among the urban buildings, many houses from the 19th and 20th centuries with interesting, eclectic and Art Nouveau facades have been preserved, as well as the neo-Gothic building of the District Office.
